I am using Memrise and SpanishDict, of course! Recently I watched a Butterfly Spanish video on YouTube in which the young vibrant instructor teaches "quiero And then there's "quisiera". What I'm seeking is the most common or best way to order food or drink in a restaurant without sounding rude or offensive or giving myself away as a gringo trying to learn Spanish. But if you are not going to a super fancy restaurant there's no need to say "Quisiera", you can just say the name of the dish and a "por favor" and they'll get it. Yo quiero un bisteck this is what I say when I'm eating with someone else and I'm telling them that I want to eat that. There is no "quisiero. In real life until you can comfortably have a conversation in Spanish with a stranger, I would advise you to use quisiera with tomar. It is respectful and never out of line. Don't be ashamed of being a gringa learning Spanish. It's a lot worse being a gringo a expecting "them" to speak English. Una botella de vino blanco. Here we share everything, you can order a tapita, to share. I love it for many reasons but I am constantly wondering "Is this really how they speak??? Thank you for correcting me; I said "quisiera" in the subject but goofed in the body of the message, and I have corrected it. Why do you advise using "quisiera" with "tomar" at my level? I'll edit my response to reflect your edit. Thank you for not misinterpreting my help as being rude - I get that sometimes! Because I use it at my level and I don't want to give you advise that I don't know about. Many of us are learners but we have a few experts. Jubilado, I've hung around internet forums long enough to know you were not being rude. I appreciate your intentions and your help. By Peter Hayter Updated: 00:47 GMT, 14 September 2010 A senior betting industry expert and adviser to world cricket's Anti-Corruption Unit last night urged them to add the first ball wide from Pakistan fast bowler Mohammed Aamer to the three no-balls under investigation from the tarnished Lord's Test. Mark Davies was one of the founders of Betfair, the world's largest internet betting exchange, and has advised the Unit on all aspects of the sport's links with the gaming industry. He believes the International Cricket Council inquiry into allegations of bowling no-balls to order - against suspended Pakistan trio Mohammad Aamer, Mohammad Asif and Test captain Salman Butt - should also focus on the opening delivery of the match by Amir, a wide that cost five runs. The ICC inquiry is running parallel to Scotland Yard's criminal investigation which has led to Aamer, Asif and Butt being interviewed under caution, with a fourth tourist, Wahib Riaz due for interview on Thursday. The delivery in question was bowled by the left-arm paceman Aamer, 18, over the wicket from the Pavilion End to England captain Andrew Strauss. It landed a foot outside leg stump and carried on, with the angle, passing the stumps by at least a yard on its way to the boundary. Wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal, along with Butt currently under ICC investigation over possible spot-fixing at the Asia Cup and the World Twenty20, made no attempt to reach the ball as it sailed to the fine leg boundary. Umpire Billy Bowden signalled four wides which, with the one-run penalty for the wide itself, added up to five runs from the first ball of the match. Fallen idols: The three Pakistani cricketers at the centre of the match fixing allegations, (left to right) Mohammad Aamer, Mohammad Asif and Salman Butt, leave Heathrow Airport for LahoreThe bowling of a wide off the first ball has long been understood in cricket circles as open to manipulation for spread betting and spot- fixing. First ball nerves and, in this case, the need to adjust to the slope at Lord's means such a delivery is not uncommon there.

Though he will take the occasional underdog, Silverstein often looks for value with the favorites, especially after sharp money comes in and lines fall below key numbers. This method allowed him to open the 2017 college football season 19-11-1 ATS after finishing the 2016 season picking gridiron games at a 62 percent clip. He has a hot hand on NFL picks, too. In fact, he's on a 14-7, 67-percent run on selections. Now, he has two games to package as part of a teaser bet, shaving 6. Here's one we can tell you: Silverstein is big on a Patriots line of just -2. New England is on a quest to defend its Super Bowl championship, winners of seven in a row and tied with Pittsburgh atop the AFC at 9-2.
